Erling Haaland | Manchester City | £11.5m
Manchester City forked out £51 million ($60m) to bring Erling Haaland to Etihad Stadium from Borussia Dortmund at the start of the summer transfer window, with Pep Guardiola finally landing a long-term replacement for club legend Sergio Aguero.
The Norwegian hit 83 goals in 87 appearances across all competitions at Dortmund, and could potentially be even more prolific in the Premier League given the high-quality service City's midfield can provide.

Harry Kane | Tottenham | £11.5m
Tottenham's captain Harry Kane has been the scourge of Premier League defences for nigh-on a decade now, winning the Golden Boot on three occasions.
A slow start to 2021-22 saw some question whether the England man had passed his peak, but he bounced back to finish the campaign with 17 top-flight goals.
It will be difficult for managers to leave out Kane once again this term, especially given the fact he has sparkled under head coach Antonio Conte and continues to enjoy a fruitful partnership with Son Heung-min.

Jamie Vardy | Leicester City | £9.5m
Leicester's Jamie Vardy has been the model of consistency in the final third over the past five seasons, scoring at least 15 Premier League goals in each year.
At 35, the crafty frontman may have lost a bit of his once-electrifying pace, but his instincts in the box remain as sharp as ever, and he will surely be a popular pick once again as Brendan Rodgers' side aim to bounce back from a disappointing 2021-22 campaign.

Darwin Nunez | Liverpool | £9.0m
Liverpool reportedly won the race to sign Darwin Nunez ahead of a whole host of top European clubs, having seen him shine in both the Primeira Liga and Champions League at Benfica.
The club will hope for an instant return on their £64 million ($77m) investment in the Uruguayan, who will surely be a nailed-on starter through the middle in light of Sadio Mane's move from Anfield to Bayern Munich.
